The Museum for Architectural Drawing’s 5th Birthday

The Museum for Architectural Drawing in Berlin is celebrating its 5th birthday from the 1st to 3rd June, 2018.
Since opening five years ago on the 1st June, 2013, the Museum for Architectural Drawing has presented a fantastic programme of 15 exhibitions in its gallery spaces, complemented by numerous shows and contributions to exhibitions in other museums in Europe, America and Asia.
Once again, our forthcoming exhibition plans demonstrate the great thematic and stylistic spectrum of the genre: from Álvaro Siza Vieira’s delicate sketches and Hans Poelzig’s large format presentation drawings to designs by the installation artists, Ilya and Emilia Kabakov and film scenographers from the golden era of German cinema; from the classicistic drawings of Jean-François Thomas de Thomon right through to the graphic works of contemporary architects such as the Pritzker Prize winner, Thom Mayne.

Come and celebrate with us!
